New French and Spanish Small Group Tuition!

I’m delighted to announce that I will now be offering small group tuition classes in Broadstairs, at fixed times, for both GCSE students and adults.  Advance bookings are essential to ensure that a place is available.

Small group tuition provides a great alternative or supplement to my bespoke one-to-one tuition service. There will be a maximum of 10 students per class, ideal for learning which is personalised but allows for plenty of conversation practice and fun interaction with other learners.

You’ll find more information below, but do also feel free to contact me (Amanda) on 07721 972700 or by email at and I will be happy to answer your questions.

Please do also have a look around this website to find out more about us and our tutoring methodology along with some audio resources in French.

GCSE French and Spanish

These classes are to start on the week beginning 14th January 2019, on Mondays (for Spanish) and Fridays (for French) between 4:15pm and 5:15pm and will run through term-time. The venue will be a lovely room in the Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs.  Advance bookings are essential.

We will cover GCSE topics in creative ways, taking in all four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening as well as exam practice.  Homework will be provided and marked each week.

French group tuition classes for adults will be held on Tuesdays, beginning on 5th February 2019 between 7pm and 8:30pm, also at the Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs.  Advance bookings are essential.

These lessons will be aimed at beginners and near-beginners initially, though you are likely to find yourself an ‘improver’ before long!  Emphasis will be on language learning for fun, travel and day-to-day living in France. You’ll find a strong cultural element in these lessons too.

All four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening will be practised in a variety of engaging ways.  I’ll provide and give feedback on homework each week.

I will be tutoring in these sessions as usual, although they will also feature Frédéric (originating from both Paris and Burgundy!).  He’ll be happy to further support you with your learning and conversation practice.
